Hon. Kim O'Keeffe
Australian Women Council Ambassador

Despite leaving school and home at the age of 15 due to challenging circumstances, she persevered through hard work and dedication to create a successful career and make a meaningful impact in her community.
Her passion and compassion for the community led her into public service, where she served as the Mayor of Greater Shepparton for four years and as the Chair of Regional Cities Victoria. She currently serves as a Member of State Parliament and as the Shadow Assistant Minister for Regional Multicultural Affairs.

Hon. Kim O’Keeffe is also a strong advocate for people experiencing homelessness and volunteers with People Supporting People. Proud to live in Regional Victoria and grateful for the opportunities it provides, she continues to inspire women as an Ambassador of the Australian Women Council and a pilot speaker of the WISE Webinar Series.
